RIBEN Director invited by MP to join national Forum
RIBEN Director Prof Neil Wrigley was asked by Local Growth Minister Mark Prisk to join the newly-formed national 'Future High Streets Forum'.
The Forum will advise the government on the challenges facing high streets, and will assist with the development of practical policies to enable town centres to adapt and change.
The Forum will draw on the expertise of experienced members of the retail and property industry, academics and trade organisations, in order to help the government better understand the competition town centres across the country face and to drive forward new ideas and policies, building on the work of the Portas review of the future of the high street.
You can learn more about the Forum at: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/high-streets-need-to-change-to-prosper
